i went to their office in alabang for the exam then after couple of days they called me and said i passed and that they'll call again to tell me about the scheduled interview. now its been two weeks of me waiting for that call.

I applied at first source last june maybe 3rd week or 4th week and I got the result in just 1 day. I passed the exam and the final interview and told me that they'll give me a call after 2 - 3 weeks. But up to now I haven't got a call or even a text message and it's almost 2 months. Sorry for the late reply guys and girls. Idon't have a contact at FirstSource anymore so I'm not in the loop with what's happening from within anymore.
This interview thing then uncomfortable silence from the Firstsource side has been quite a common occurence. I'm guessing their personnel needs have changed since the last time I wrote about them. They may have filled up the positions already. Passing the exam or an interview does not guarantee you the next step in the application process. Everything largely depends on the company/accounts need for more people.
However, I do agree that Firstsource BPO Phils should have the courtesy of calling the people they promised to get a call back to let them know the status. Else at least leave them a number or email address to follow up. I do agree that their salary offer looks enticing but if this is the kind of treatment applicants will get, I wonder how their current employees are doing. If you know what I mean.
Moving forward, I suggest all future applicants ask for a follow up contact phone number to rotect themselves from this kind of situation.
All the best to the job applicants. Don't put all your eggs in one basket so to speak.

First source!!!!! I also experienced that kind of stuff twice. Last year i applied and did past the exam. HR told me that they will call me regarding the final interview until now there's no result. I just recently found out that First Source open a new account and they need 100 agents. So last month i applied same thing i passed then told me that they will call regarding about the schedule of the training but until now i havnt recv a call from them. Please do something about this so no one will experirence this terrible stuff. I Want to tell DOLE about this.
