Wachovia Corp. seems to be in a very good financial-standing these days! They just have been given and anti-trust clearance by the U.S. Department Of Justice on their takeover of A.G. Edwards Inc. a U.S. stock exchange listed financial company. The deal between Charlotte, N.C.-based Wachovia and A.G. Edwards of St. Louis will create the U.S.'s second-largest financial-services brokerage, with $1.1 trillion in client assets and nearly 15,000 financial advisers for Wachovia.
