Watch out all you call center applicants in the south! If you're looking for work close to home, 24/7Customer is reportedly building a site in Alabang Muntinlupa specifically the North Cybergate area.
The 24/7 Customer call center has recently been getting rave reviews from its present employees and most are satisfied with the work they have now compared to previous employment experiences. 247Customer is company primarily managed by Indian nationals but also have Filipino managers in the hierarchy.
For people in the Alabang, Laguna and Cavite area, this should be a welcome development as we all know proximity to the place of work greatly contributes to employee convenience and retention. For the former Convergys managers (now managers in 247customer), this should be a sort of coming home time, because the new 247customer building would be right around the corner where the Convergys building along with HSBC, APAC and Firstsource buildings are standing. The the inauguration and operations are reportedly starting by September 2008!

wow, good for the folks down south. one observation though, people from alabang/las pinas still prefer to work in makati or ortigas for some reason though there's a big presence of the BPO industry in their area.
Hi Everyone. I work for 24/7 Customer and there isnt any plan of putting a site in Alabang. For now, all the sites of 24/7 Customer are in Makati.
sorry guys.NO announcement yet about where the new site location, but to give you a heads-up, if its not gonna be in makati its gonna be somewhere in QC

Well, I'm an experienced CSR living in Las Pinas but if offered a day shift job in Makati that has little difference in pay size with my pay as a night shift CSR in Alabang, I'll go for the day shift job. Man, the puyat is murder on CSRs who are - ahem - senior citizens (ages 40 and up)
are you accepting preggy applicants?
