This month's survey shall tackle employee confidence for their company. Just to let everybody in on things, most U.S. companies are "tightening their belts" in the land of milk and honey. Even Starbucks slashed 12000 jobs all over the U.S. just last month and closed down 600 store outlets. If the trend continues, we may well soon feel the economic crunch here in our call centers in the Philippines because so much of what we have here depends on the economic climate over there. I've already been hearing quite a few accounts closing from different call centers here and there.
So the survey question is, are you confident of keeping your job despite some very concerning developments in the U.S. and in your call center company? Answer yes or no and if you're kind enough to leave a comment, please do! Click on the comments link below. The survey is on the sidebar. Thanks!

Yes I am confident I am keeping my job. Despite the losses, Genpact-Wachovia is staying afloat with the numerous businesses we have with our customers. :) I have that much faith on both companies.
Thanks for the reply Kuh! Yeah, banking and those companies who deal with the banking industry sure does have one advantage with them. Working with these people is like leaning on a stone wall. Besides, I'm sure GenPact and Wachovia have a multiple year plan for expansion in the Phils so I don't think employees will ever feel the crunch.
Thanks again for the comment.
Yes! I'm confident with 24/7. Although, I'm still a rookie in that company, it doesn't seem to let up on hiring. :D
I too am confident as Teletech is attracting clients outside the US. Their economy ismuch more stable but the accounts aremuch smaller. (although I still loathe our management and how they dont take care of employees). Bottomline is that it is up to the management team on how they can keep the account going. As they say "everything rises and falls on leadership"
I find this odd, I am from TeleTech and actually, I am very satisfied with how employees i.e me, are treated. I'd go as far as to say that they go the extra mile.. I wonder who the dissatisfied people are as we have the lowest attrition rate in the entire industry.. curious indeed.
